I'm a physical oceanographer originally from Tijuana, Baja, California, Mexico. I did my undergraduate at the Universidad Autonoma de Baja California, Ensenada, MX, and continued studying as a graduate student at Oregon State University, USA. I study ocean fronts processes and instabilities to understand the role of mixing in the transport of tracers and circulation patterns. My work also includes exploring new ways in bringing inclusion, equity, and diversity to Oceanography through a lens of social justice.
